O famoso artista Kenny Scharf, que se distinguiu nos anos oitenta, foi preso na sexta-feira em Williamsburg. Apanhado com instrumentos de graffitis ficou detido durante 20 horas. "...Cops who arrested me were fans and wanted to talk about exit through the gift shop and even liked the tag. at the first holding cell in Williamsburg (there were only 5 people in the cell) the police were googling me and asking about things like the tunnel nightclub...", relatou. Mas a experiência parece não ter sido desagradável. Tanto os polícias como os companheiros de cela eram seus fãs.
